TimeOut? CWS Software offers TimeOut, a web based absence management solution that can also be installed on in-house servers. The solution is available either as a part of The Unity Suite Core HRIS or it can be purchased independently. TimeOut is primarily designed for SMBs and some of its key clients include Omron, Fuse, benefit Concepts, Texas AFT, TriNet Ambrose and so on.

TimeOut allows employees to request and view their time off through a color-coded matrix that is different for each individual. This matrix displays the vacation, holidays or personal days off that have been requested by the employee. A summary screen provides a configurable snapshot of the current leave balance and allows users to send leave requests for manager approval. Alerts are sent to managers if the requested leave is more than what the employee has earned.

TimeOut is available in multiple languages for global users and can integrate with Apple iCal, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. The solution offers a TimeTracker module that allows an organization to plan their staffing and track the total hours spent on a particular project which might impact the overall billing.

TimeOut integrates with the existing HRIS or payroll solution of the organization which smoothens the transition and implementation process. The solution offers a mobile interface that can be opened on various browsers and device types. For hosted solutions, CWS offers a full backup performed periodically in order to secure the data at a separate geographic location.
